Between here and “there” since her adolescence, Florence Loison questions her place and her path in her travel between continents, different visions of the world and the freedom for Human Beings to go wherever they want; from one age to the other, from one culture to the other, from one dance to the other.
“I have embraced Africa and its dancing forms for more than 7 years, before turning myself towards a more abstract expression of movement. Travelling is part of my life like a necessary condition of my presence to the world.
This body marked by the cultural contradiction questions today different codified spaces that she has gone through up to now.
“Travelling towards the essence of my own movement, I have wished to be accompanied by the videographer and light technician Olivier Clausse and the musician Denis Manjanel.”

Lignes Africaines (African Lines) aims at tracing lines between people and spaces.
That’s why this event is constantly looking to be linked here or there, in a fleeting or regular manner to places other events, escapades, shared meetings.
These partnerships outside the Sarthe area take various forms such as collective co-production of invited artists, the circulation of artistic proposals of Lignes Africaines (African Lines) or the shared organisation of a peek time can take place all year around.
The proposals are still being negociated but Lignes Africaines (African Lines) 2009 should be involved with the following events. :
Festival Vagabondages et Compagnies / MJC de Servon Sur Vilaine (35)
This unconventional festival aims at giving the possibility to see living performances in unexpected places.Provoking discrepancies, giving a mobile and living dimension to culture are the goals of this enterprise.
In short a whirling festival with artistic proposals accessible to all and very attractive.
On May, the 30th, VOYAGES will be performed in a shop !
/ 28th to 31st May
Les Afrikales / Communauté de Communes de la Vallée d’Auge (14)
